A testing installation to demonstrate the functional capacities of the mini wind turbines connected to a network.
This installation was set up set up on a Federal Energy Commission building in Mexico City. The Commission has entrusted its trials to a Bornay 1500 wind turbine.
The wind turbine is connected to a Sieb & Meyer Aeocon inverter with a nominal power of 4.2 kW, feeding the power generated into the electric grid.
This wind turbine is capable of producing practically the entire amount of power necessary for a single-family home.
